Atley - 6/20/2019

Atley ate waffle and a large serving of fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate several bites of "whole 30" chili with meat, sweet potatoes, peppers, tomatoes, and tomato sauce.  She also ate whole wheat dinner roll and tropical fruit.  This isn't about Atley, but you might like it!!  At lunch Nora was calling the Whole 30 chili, "chili."  Haha!  Avilene was all over that!!  She said, "NO!!  It's COLD 30 Chili!!"  LOL!  Oh man I roared!

First picture: I thought it was cute when Atley was putting the bumblebee jacket over her head.  Yup, I think maybe you've outgrown this jacket Atley!  Actually I need to add more (bigger!) dress-up clothes in this toy exchange!!  :)  She's watching herself in the mirror!

Next picture:  Avi and Atley were playing with the legos in the preschool room and were making several things.  Atley was making points with Avi by supplying her with lots of "eyeballs."  Avi said, "I love eyeballs!!"  (None are visible in this picture so I guess you'll just have to take my word for it! Ha!)  Following picture: I'm not exactly sure how they managed to scatter the little legos around, but they worked hard to pick them all up.  You make the mess in the preschool room, you pick it up.  And they did a good job without complaining once.  Thank you Avi and Atley!!

Last picture:  They followed up the legos mess by engaging in activities less likely to end messy!!  Haha! Avi worked on puzzles while Atley read some books.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
