Atley - 6/11/2019

Atley ate whole wheat English muffin and two servings of dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of chicken, ate brown rice, bites of stir fry vegetables, and a bite of oranges.

First picture: Nora, Avi, and Atley doing some drawing with markers, pens, and pencils.  They also did some stickers and stamps.  When they started with the pens Atley said, "I"m gonna sign out.  I'm gonna sign out."  (Making reference to "signing in and out on the attendance sheets.)  Both Nora and Avi picked up on that and started chanting it too.  "I'm gonna sign out. I'm gonna sign out!"  :)

Next picture: Notice where Atley is trying to carry her sunglasses at.  She's been doing that frequently and even Linnea was mimicking her and she was successful at it today!!  I know Atley watches Momma Megan do this, but I wanted to see what she'd say so I asked; "Hey Atley, where'd you learn to carry your sunglasses like that?"  Atley said, "From Nora, Avi, Svea, Linnea, and Lauralea!"  Haha! That made me laugh.  (I've never seen Lauralea carry her sunglasses like that. Ever.)

Last picture: Hey, she has a doll and she's caring for it!!  You look like a pro Atley!!  :)  She frequently joins Nora wrapping up her babies, but it's just as likely to be a stuffed animal or whatever instead of a doll.  In this toy set it's usually the unicorn.  ha!

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
