Atley - 5/23/2019

Atley ate two servings of waffles and ate fruit salad for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of shepherd's pie with meat, green beans, carrots, and potatoes.  She also ate bites of whole wheat tortillas and ate her cherries.  The three girls at the meal table were arguing about who's a "mess maker" and who isn't!  All of them were claiming innocence of course.  (Atley is actually the least messy of the crew!)  They went on and on and finally Avi said, "Let's drop the mess maker!"  I asked, "Where did you hear the 'let's drop it' phrase!?"  Avi said, "Lauralea."  Ha!  Later Atley said, "At lunch let's talk about halloween stuff!!"

Here's a note from yesterday afternoon.  The neighbor's apple tree has been loaded with blossoms as you've probably noticed and they are all over the Daycare lawn.  The kids are pretty fascinated by them and they've been gathering handfuls.  Yesterday the wind started blowing HARD and blossoms were falling like a snow storm.  Nora jumped up and started squealing and Atley immediately joined her also squealing.  They were running to where the majority were falling.

First thing this morning Linnea was crying and Atley said to her, "Nobody want to listen to it."  Ha.  HOWEVER, Atley's response was in stark contrast to her response moments later when Linnea was crying because she had major snarls and sticky stuff in her hair and I was trying to get a brush through it!!  Atley knew that was a cry of pain and she quickly got a toy to distract Linnea.  That was very sweet Atley.

Here are some pictures from this morning.  She was a busy girl just like she always is and having lots of fun.  What a fun-loving kid she is!!  Last picture: She was doing some alphabet stamps with Avi and they worked on it for a long time.
