Atley - 5/20/2019

Atley ate whole wheat Chex cereal and two servings of peaches for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat hamburger bun, no cucumber, and bites of oranges.  At breakfast table Atley said, "When we done with breakfast we play a lot, and then we have lunch, then we sleep, then we have snack."  Haha!  She's got all the meal times covered and nailed down!!

NOTICE: I just want to remind everyone that Little Treasures will be closed Monday the 27th for Memorial Day!  (That's next Monday!)  And I may as well start reminding you now of the following closure dates: Those will be my yearly days off in Summer.  July 4 - July 12 this year.  (July 4 is on a Thursday.)

Avi was in the preschool area and sneezed and Atley was around the corner, couldn't see Avi, but sweetly said, "Bless You!"  Avi got mad, went to the gate, and with a big attitude loudly yelled, "Atley!!  I was gonna say Bless You to myself!!" Oh man that hit my funny bone.  I told Avi it was very sweet and nice of Atley to say "Bless You." Avi grudgingly accepted it then.  Ha!

We did a toy, books and puzzle exchange this weekend and like always the kids were engaged and busy all morning.  First picture: Atley playing in the little houses up close!!  :)  Last picture; She and Avilene were hanging onto the apron strings and running wildly about the mattress!  They kept running in circles, jumping, and intentionally falling and then saying, "I'm ok!!"

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
