Atley - 5/10/2019
Atley ate most of oatmeal and raisins for breakfast. For lunch she ate salmon, whole wheat dinner roll, cauliflower, and half of her mangoes.
Yesterday afternoon Avi and Svea's Grandpa and Grandma picked them up and Atley asked Grandpa, "What's your name?" He said, "I'm Mark." Atley said,"Hi Mark." This morning we had a representative from Child Care Resources drop off an appreciation "thing" and Atley handled it the same way; "What's your name?" "Nikki." "Hi Nikki." She does that better than many adults!! :) Totally natural and comfortable with it!! (I'm not disrespecting uncomfortable introverts!! Ha! Just looking at the contrast!!)
First two pictures are from yesterday. I've mentioned this previously, but Atley has a strong connection with Linnea and every time Linnea is fussy Atley suddenly appears and will try to sooth her. It's really pretty precious! Linnea really dislikes the whole pooping procedure, including the clean up, so the picture you see is a very common occurrence! Atley is telling her; "It's ok Linnea." Second picture; Also from yesterday. Atley and Nora were doing what we call "mountain climbing." We've got pictures of kids from years and years back using this exact same spot for the same thing!
Pictures from Friday morning: Giving Svea rides in the swivel/rocker chair. Second picture; she was helping to keep Callahan happy with rides up and down the hallway. Last picture: Gluing and doing stickers. Busted! The stickers go on your paper Avi, not your nose. haha!
