Atley - 4/11/2019

Atley ate whole wheat English muffin and half of oranges for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, peas, and two servings of applesauce.  (With the 2nd serving going on her peas which helped her finish those!)

These first two pictures are from yesterday afternoon.  Callahan got tired of the stroller and when I took him out Svea crawled into it.  That was after I'd told Atley, Avi, and Nora; "No, you guys are too big for this small old stroller!!"  Ha!  Atley was tough enough to push Svea back-n-forth across the carpet!  (I usually have the stroller on the hardwood floor.)  These two kids like each other and I like how they're grinning and laughing together.  Second picture - I just thought it was cute how Atley was looking at herself with the binoculars.  And she's using the end which makes everything look far away!!  :)

Here's some conversation between Avi and Atley this morning:  Avi said, "I have a phone Sylvie gave me."  Atley; "I have a phone too."  Avi; "What color is your phone?"  Atley; "Purple.  What color is your's?"  Avi; "Blue.  And it has an Apple on the back."  (excellent choice Avi)  Atley; "Can I come to your house?"  Avi; "Yes."  Atley; "What color is your house?"  Avi; "Hmmm...Lots of colors. Now talk to your Mom about coming to my house!!"  :)

Next picture:  I like Avi's expression!!  Maybe she's thinking:  "Hmmm...I wonder if I'm busted for sitting on Atley's back!?!"  Actually Atley said, "Avi, sit on me!!"  :)  Ha!!  Last picture:  Avi had  said, "Ok everyone!! I'm putting on a BIG show!!"  And when Atley saw what she was doing Atley decided to do the exact same thing!!  Nothing says "big show" like a mask and a microphone!!

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
