Atley - 3/21/2019
Atley ate two servings of toasted and buttered whole wheat bagel and ate peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of hamburger & sausage pizza with peppers, pineapple, olives, and tomato sauce. She ate the whole wheat pizza crust, and ate all of her pineapple on the side. Just a reminder: There is will be no Blogs tomorrow and back on Monday!!
First picture: And another morning ritual continues!! Linnea was over by the couch and Atley said, "Girl Hug!!" Linnea knows what that means and she sprints for the gate!! She loves Megan and I love the fact that Atley is able to share her Mommy's hugs. Well done Atley! You have a great heart!
Speaking of routines!! Whenever Atley has to go potty she says; "I need to go potty Gary!" And apparently my routine answer is; "Go for it Atley!!" And she sprints down the hall and the next thing I hear is; "I'm done Gary!!" She is doing it all SO well!! Anyhow, this morning she said, "I need to go potty Gary!" And then she just stood there because I hadn't said the right thing!! (I hadn't given her the "green light!" Ha!) Finally she asked, "Can I go for it!?!" And then I realized what she was waiting for!! LOL! Isn't that cute!?! Awww.. Love this kid so much!! Love all my kids!! Those kind of interactions just crack me up and keep me totally entertained!!
Last two pictures - I've already mentioned it this week, but I love how much interest Atley is taking in the preschool trays now. I'd be happy to show you what she's doing any time you're interested and have a few extra minutes. Feel free to ask. The last picture is a fun tray. There are lots of different colored shapes on the tray and they are magnetic. So you put one of the patterns in the little metal tray and match up the shapes. And we have many designs that get more advanced as they continue to learn! She said, "I'm doing half-circles." (Check it out.) Yes you are! Well done!!
