Atley - 3/18/2019
Atley ate most of cheerios and ate banana for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, olives, bites of tomato, bite of avocado (or at least she "touched" it - see below), and ate strawberries. Nora said, "Can I have more strawberries?" I said, "You haven't even touched your avocado." Atley said, "I just touched mine!" Haha! Stinking literalists!! :) Atley was so proud of herself for voluntary taking a bite of tomato without me mentioning it!! "I took a bite of my tomato Gary!!" Also, Atley immediately noticed the new dishwasher - different color! First thing! Nothing gets by that girl!
Atley and Nora have this routine/ritual thing where one of them yells - today it was Atley yelling - "monsters Nora! monsters!!" And now it just basically means; chase each other around and around the mattress. That's not how it started, but that's what it's evolved into after months of the "monsters" game. :)
Atley yelled to let me know she was done in the bathroom and wanted me to wipe her. Avi went running in too very excited, but was soon disappointed! "Why did you NOT poop!?!" She asked Atley! Ha! Silly kids.
All four pictures I took of Atley this morning came from doing activities in the preschool room. She has really been showing lots of interest in doing more of these and that's really fun. The first picture is one she really likes and frequently chooses it. She's learning to recognize the numbers (glued on the clothes pin) and match the stick with the same number of dots. She's been doing 0 1 2 and 3 by herself. Well done Atley!! Also, I think she's been spending a fair amount of time in a carwash because she's been talking about "car washes" a lot! Haha! Picture number three she said she was building a "car wash."
