Atley - 2/20/2019

Atley ate whole wheat toast and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate most of pork roast, bites of whole wheat tortillas, no potatoes, bites of sweet potatoes, and most of fruit salad.  At breakfast they were talking about Atley being gone yesterday.  So Atley told them she was with "Nana and Papa."  I asked Nora; "What do you call your Grandpa and Grandma?"  She said, "Grandma Pam and Grandpa Gary."  Huh?  She got a huge grin on her face when she realized what she'd said, "Nooooo, Papa Greg."  And then Avi said, "My Grandpa and Grandma are Mark and Mary."  Is there anything more cool for children than Grandparents!?!?  No.  :)

First picture: When Atley came she wanted to leave her hat on; "To keep my head warm!"  So of course Avi arrived and saw Atley's hat so she had to leave her's on as well.  They were looking in the mirror and making some adjustments to their caps.  And you'll see those hats in the following pictures.  They kept them on all morning; Avi took her's off once or twice for a very short time and then back on.

I took this next picture shortly after Svea arrived.  The first thing Atley saw was the wound on Svea's forehead and she was all about what happened!?!?  "What happened to Svea!? What happened to Svea!?!?"  She kind of had Svea pinned when I took this picture checking out the wound!  If you zoom in you can see Svea's expression and she be like; "Are you done yet!?!?"  :)

Last two pictures: Just working on some preschool activities.  They enjoy working together and most of the time that works out ok.  Some times I have to monitor more closely; just depends on the activity.  Nora was happy to have Atley back today.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
