Atley - 1/22/2019
Atley ate two servings of whole wheat English muffin and ate dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate no chicken, a large serving of brown rice, no stir fry vegetables, and no oranges. As the kids were waiting for breakfast I was whistling loud and they were guessing the tunes. Nora and Atley were nailing them in just a few seconds every time. (Avi was asking me to stop! Haha!) It reminded me of a game show on TV called "Name that Tune" from MANY years ago! haha!
Atley was looking at a book and asked, "Do you like candy canes?" Me; "No, not really." She said, "We do." So I asked, "Who are we; who likes em?" It was pretty cute and I was curious if she could answer the "we" question! She nailed it and told me who she meant!! She said, "Avi, Atley, Svea, Nor Nor, and Linnea!" Haha! Good job! That pretty much covers everyone!!
Here are some pictures from this morning; Atley was putting on these heart bracelets and Lauralea was helping Linnea put some on too. Then Atley was reading books and when Linnea approached Atley loudly said, "These are my books!" But then she added (she read my mind I guess), "You can have this one when I'm done." Good job Atley.
Last picture: I took this just before Nap time. Avi and Atley were reading the "I Spy" book and I like watching and especially listening to the kids when they read this book together. There are objects on one page and you have to find the same objects on the opposite page. They were working hard at it for a long time. They were using the same words I use when I read it; "Can you show me the.....?"
