Atley - 1/11/2019

Atley ate oatmeal and baked cinnamon apples for breakfast.  For lunch she ate bites of hamburger stew with green beans, tomatoes, and carrots.  She ate whole wheat dinner roll, and ate her apricots.  Atley began lecturing Nora at breakfast: "Say please Nor Nor, say please!"  Haha!  I've been working with all of them, but of course Atley is probably the biggest violator so we'll see if it's a case of the "pot calling the kettle black" or if Atley has made some kind of miraculous conversion!  (I know where I'm placing my bets!!  Ha!)  Also at breakfast I was trying to feed Svea, not having much success, and then she started crying.  Atley said, "Hey Gary!  Svea's crying!"  Oh really, well thank's for the heads-up Atley.  Did you happen to notice I'm standing right in front of Svea?  Haha!

This was one of those mornings where Nora came in and immediately started laughing at everything Atley was doing!!  (And I LOVE those mornings - Nora has the most infectious giggle and belly laugh!)  First picture: Atley said, "You wanna watch me jump Nor Nor!?!" So Nora plops down on the mattress, starts sucking her thumb and becomes a very attentive and encouraging audience for Atley!  Haha!!

Here are some more pictures from Atley's morning:  Atley and Nora said they were "riding horses" and let Linnea join them.  Hang on Linnea!!  :)  Last picture: Atley and Nora were giving their babies rides down the slide!  Then Atley saw me with the camera and said, "Gary's gonna take a picture of the baby on the slide Nor Nor!!"  :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
