Atley - 12/17/2018

Atley arrived after her dentist appointment and just ate lunch here today: Turkey burger, whole wheat hamburger bun, no tomatoes, ate most of avocado, and ate cherries.  We ate lunch early and went down for naps early because it was a tired Monday morning!  For everyone except Atley!!  She played well and was very energetic so it was obvious she was feeling much much better!  All three of the other kids were exhausted!  (Nora is out sick today.)  However, Atley went to sleep very quickly along with the rest of them.  :)

We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend.  First picture: We also changed a few things, including bringing in another big box, cutting a door in it, a few windows, and putting some chairs in there with dolls sitting in the chairs.  You may also notice some picture frames in the entry room to display the kid's art work.  Everyone was busy as usual on toy exchange Monday.

Here are some pictures from Atley's morning; Waving bye to Momma Megan!  Nora is out sick today, but the other four kids made it in the picture.  :)  In the middle picture Atley had some jingle bells in each hand and singing Christmas songs.  If you zoom up close you might be able to see she has her eyes closed and apparently really feeling the music.  :)  It did sound quite loud and joyful! Last picture: She also did several preschool activities along with playing in the Daycare room.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
