Atley - 11/13/2018
Atley ate two servings of waffle and two servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate chicken, half of whole wheat tortilla, ate corn, and half of baked cinnamon apples.
Well, today was lots more play in the boxes!! I always tell my families; "Why buy toys when all kids really want is one or two boxes!!??" :) Second picture: You can see Atley's hand closing the "door" to their house. And that's why I cut "windows" in the sides; when they shut the door I can still see in! Picture number 3: Atley being Atley and trying on the dress-up clothes. :) Actually, as you probably can guess, she was intentionally covering her head and getting some laughs from the other kids. :)
I'm including a picture of all the ice cream cone toppings and tell you a story about them from this morning. Atley had not played with these until the moment Nora walked through the door and guess which one Atley immediately went for!! The Pink one of course because Nora loves the pink!! The yelling and fighting immediately followed! And that's how things frequently roll in settings like this with Infants, Toddlers, and Preschoolers!! There is no end to the social learning that can take place!! (At least I hope they're learning!! Haha! Just a joke there!!) I simply removed the pink topping for awhile until they cooled off. I never try to "teach" anything when they are furious!! That does not work. (I don't want someone trying to teach me when I'm upset either.)
Last picture: The kids love looking at the pictures in the window sill. So we loaded the digital frame with pictures of them and also pictures that they've taken with the cameras in the preschool room and they LOVE it! It was fun to listen to them talk about the pictures at mealtimes.
