Atley - 10/26/2018

Atley ate bites of her oatmeal and ate dried cranberries for breakfast.  For lunch she ate tilapia, whole wheat elbow noodles, half of green beans, and ate applesauce.

Yesterday afternoon Avi said, "Tomorrow is Friday.  Then it's Wednesday, then the weekend.  AND I can watch Rock Dog!!  And Ice Age!!"  Haha!  First thing this morning she said, "Atley!!  It's Friday and two more left and then it's the weekend!  Ok Atley!?!"  Atley was like; "Ok whatever."  Anticipating the weekends begins at an early age!!  :)

First picture: Atley was doing some reading at the table while Avi was working on some puzzles.  Atley read books several times this morning.  One of the times Nora and Atley were in competition for most volume on "Baa Baa Black Sheep."  Let's just say Atley can perform a few decibels above everyone else.  Wow, she can be loud!!  How about we sing together!?!  Haha!  Another time Atley was singing, "Old McDonald" and got to "and on that farm he had a..."  Avi jumped in and said, "Guinea pig!"  :)

Next picture: Atley and Avi were arranging all the tractors and farm animals.  Atley was in charge of the tractors.  When they were done and left to do something else Linnea seized the opportunity to do some major rearranging!!  :)  In the last picture Atley said she was drawing an "apple" she said.  Good job Atley!  You have a basic circle.  :)

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
