Atley - 8/8/2018
Atley ate french toast and three servings of strawberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of "Whole 30" chili with hamburger, tomato sauce, peppers, tomatoes, and sweet potatoes. She ate whole wheat dinner roll and ate a large serving of tropical fruit.
This first picture is from yesterday afternoon when the kids asked to play in the sand table. They had lots of fun scooping sand into the funnels which makes the wheels spin around. By the way, I'm doing something different with the sand area in the next few weeks to make it more practical; plus I think they'll like it much better. :)
Linnea wanted to climb up the three little steps to the blue balance beam again today, except Atley happened to be sitting on the second step! Linnea kind of yells at her and starts tugging and pulling on Atley's shirt. Atley said, "Those are MY clothes, those are MY clothes!!" However, Atley quickly took off running! So now they were both happy; Linnea had a clear path to the top and nobody was pulling on Atley's clothes!! :)
Here are some pictures from Atley's morning. She played with this little panda bear for a LONG time. She's been doing more of this kind of play recently; sometimes with the dolls, but she prefers the stuffed animals right now. Nora does this ALL the time so maybe there is some influence there too. I was just surprised this morning how long she stayed with this type of activity!!
The next picture - she's obviously reading a book, but do a close-up of those eyes! Haha! How cute is that? She was very aware that I was taking the picture. :) Last picture; She was helping Nora get in a better mood this morning. Shortly before this Nora was still grumpy from arrival (she'd banged her shin earlier) and Atley didn't go near her. As a matter of fact I heard Atley say (mostly to herself), "I leave Nor Nor alone." Good plan Atley. :)
