Atley - 6/13/2018

Atley was at the dentist this morning and arrived at Daycare about 10:30 while we were getting ready to do Art.  I get all or most of my notes from morning play so the Blog may be a bit short today.  (Although I have a couple of pictures from yesterday afternoon!)  For lunch she ate half of ground beef with marinara sauce on whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate squash, and half of fruit salad.

Yesterday afternoon Avi and Atley were checking out a bug they found on the yellow climber.  :)  In the 2nd picture the kids (except Nora - she preferred to watch) were inside the geo-climber using the balls as their pillows.  And laughing; they were pretty impressed with themselves.  :)  Children laughing is music to me!!  Love it!

Speaking of laughter, Nora was sitting on the couch watching Atley jump off the igloo this morning.  I couldn't see anything out of the ordinary, but Nora was really chuckling as she watched Atley jump.  And Atley LOVES to make Nora laugh, so she kept jumping over and over!  It was so cute.  In this last picture from this morning Atley, Avi, and Hudson were riding their "motorcycles."

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Then Atley was showing Nora her "bruised" elbow.  (I could see nothing that even resembled a bruise!)  Atley said, "I got an owie on here!!"  Nora said, "OW!"  Haha!  Which suited Atley perfectly; that's what she wanted to hear!! Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
