Atley - 6/1/2018
Atley ate several bites of breakfast; oatmeal and dried cranberries. For lunch she ate most of tilapia, a large serving of whole wheat elbow noodles, nibble of green beans, and a large serving of applesauce. (They love the applesauce smothering their noodles!)
When the kids are at the window waving "bye" to Momma or Daddy there is always something to distract them!! We live on a bus route, two schools close by, so there are lots of kids, cars, and usually a few dogs as well. As Momma Megan stopped to wave this morning Atley spotted a dog; "Ohhh, puppy!!" And of course I'm always in the background saying, "Wave at Momma, Wave at Momma, wave at Momma!!" Haha! I primarily took this first picture of Atley because this has been her "signature look" lately; one pant leg pulled up close to her knee!! :)
Well we have 3 kids (Avi, Atley, Svea) here today and 3 (Linnea, Hudson, Nora) are absent. Avi and Atley had lots of fun this morning (judging by the running, laughing, squealing, jumping) and were pretty much going non-stop full speed ahead! I took this next picture after Avi got a couple of blocks and said, "I'm skiing Gary! I'm skiing!" Atley immediately did the same thing and was saying the same thing! Except Avi realized her skis were mismatched colors and had to fix that!! (Atley, on the other hand had mismatched colors and didn't care! Ha!) Then Atley crashed and now it was Avi's turn to copy that maneuver!! And it turned into a game of crashing!!
For art time today we got some stamps and the girls had fun with those. There are lots of different bugs, a few animals, dinosaurs, birds, etc. The girls worked at it for a long time. When they were done Avi asked, "Are we gonna spray it!?!" That's the go-to question for every art project!! The only time we spray them with water is when we color on coffee filters!! :)
