Atley - 5/25/2018

Atley ate brown rice and raisins for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of salmon, ate whole wheat dinner roll, no green beans, and a bite of mangoes.  Lauralea said, "bye kids" at breakfast like she does just about every day.  They (Nora, Atley, Avilene, and Hudson) were all laughing and giggling, waving bye and mimicking her by chanting, "bye kids" as she was leaving.  :)

This first picture made me laugh!  (As usual!  Ha!)  Nora had been standing beside Atley and by the time I got the camera she'd jumped, but Atley got distracted looking out the window.  What made me laugh is because of what distracted her!  I doubt if anyone could guess with 10 tries!  I'm sure I couldn't except I'm the one who trains them to be very vigilant and hyper sensitive about spotting the enemy - Dandelions!!  Ha!  Atley was saying, "Dandelion, dandelion, dandelion!!"  Nice work super Scout!!  :)

Here are some more pictures from this morning's activities: Nora and Atley were playing together near the legos table while I was cleaning up breakfast.  Hudson and Avi were doing puzzles.  When I'm cleaning up a meal my ears are always tuned to what the kids are doing!!  And as you all know it's very fishy when quietness prevails!!  Why are Atley and Nora so quiet?!?  For several minutes!?!  When I went around the corner this is what I saw - them using legos flowers for pacifiers!  (Nora looks like she has no legs in this picture!  She actually had her knees bent and was squatting because she was poopy and wouldn't sit down!)  In the 2nd picture Atley and Avilene are closely examining Nora's scratched knee from a sidewalk fall yesterday afternoon!  Their close proximity to Nora's owie was making her nervous!!  In the last picture the kids are waiting for me to take a picture after they finished gluing some animals at Art Time.

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
