Atley - 5/21/2018
Atley ate kix cereal and bites of mixed fruit for breakfast. For lunch she ate half of turkey burger bites of whole wheat hamburger bun, bites of lettuce and tomato, no avocado, and ate cherries. Hudson and Nora are not here today so at breakfast I asked, "Who's not here today?" (Always a tricky question for this age group!) Avilene immediately said, "Bubba." (He sits at the table with them.) Yes, good answer. Next she said, "Linnea." She's here, but that was actually a good answer because Linnea was already taking a nap when Avi arrived so she'd not seen her. Atley said, "Atley!!" Nope. You're here! Haha! About a minute later Avi suddenly asked, "Where's Nora?" Alright we got it!! :) Atley started saying, "Nor Nor, Nor Nor." Yup, she's gone too.
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so the girls were super busy this morning. I've mentioned recently how many puzzles they do and how much they enjoy the puzzles. Today it was 11:00 before they even asked to do puzzles so you know they were busy and occupied. Here's a picture of Atley checking out some food toys and Linnea approaching!! How does Atley deal with that?!? Look at the next picture. She headed for higher ground with her plates in hand! :) She's sitting up there keeping an eye on the baby! Nice solution Atley if you don't want the baby in your space!!
Atley had every book out of the book rack and I think she probably read and looked at all of them! She also played with the food toys, like I mentioned above, and the "iPods" (or a very cheap imitation), and much more. She and Avi were also jumping off the top of the igloo and having fun playing on the mattress. (For you overly observant ones, if the igloo placement looks different to you in the picture - you're right. It got moved a little bit.) :) The Daycare was slightly disrupted this morning by the need for a service call from the central air conditioning people!! (I think we'll eventually need it this year sometime!) They are always super busy so we don't have much choice for scheduling. But it all worked out just fine!!
