Atley - 5/15/2018

Atley ate most of whole wheat bagel and two servings of grapes for breakfast.  For lunch she ate shrimp, brown rice, most of stir fry vegetables, and ate raspberries.   I flossed my teeth at Lunch time and of course Atley said, "Frost - teeth" and Avilene said, "Frosty the Snowman."  Even Nora got in on the action;  "Frosty the Snowman, Frosty the Snowman, Frosty the Snowman."  :)

Linnea was gone yesterday and the kids were happy to see her today.  Hudson was playing with her and Atley scooted in to say hi.  When I took this first picture Hudson was preparing to get between Atley and Baby Linnea.  You can see Linnea's attention is glued on Atley!

Here are a couple more pictures from this morning's activities.  Atley was singing and reading stories and those books you see on the floor are the ones she's read and discarded!  When I took the picture she was singing "Bear went over the mountain, bear went over the mountain..." very loudly and with passion!  :)  The actual name of the book she has is "Bear Feels Scared."  Haha!  Then in picture number 3 Atley (top bunk) and Avilene (Bottom bunk) were pretending to sleep.  The bottom section of the changing table is perfect for that!!
 

And in the last picture you can see Linnea is on the mattress with the "Big" kids.  Yes, Nora too is one of the "big" kids!  Haha!  I judge according to capability, not size!!  As I've mentioned many times I love how all the kids can play on the mattress at the same time and rarely have conflict!  Part of the reason - NO toys allowed on mattress - nothing to fight over except space and that's a rarity!!

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. She has 2 little people facing each other and said they were "having a staring contest!" Haha. She made me laugh hard again! Atley - 08/25/2021

Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request. Silence. I said, "Tell Atley thank you." Avi said, "Thank you" and Atley said, "Welcome." Avi said, "Why do you say welcome and not you're welcome?"
