Atley - 4/23/2018
Atley ate kix cereal and mixed fruit for breakfast. For lunch she ate turkey burger, bite of whole wheat hamburger bun, ate half of lettuce and tomato, ate avocado, and two servings of cherries.
Hey Megan, I was thinking about what you said about noticing Atley falling more than usual. She may be going through a growing stage. We hear lots about "clumsiness" when kids are going through major growing spurts during adolescent years, but kids this age can struggle with growth spurts too.
So here's what's happening today: Hudson is gone until Wednesday. We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend so the kids were busy. Also, no school today so Kenzie and Riley are here most of the day (until Riley and Cooper's T-Ball game at 4:00) and the kids loved that. Riley was watching Atley do the puzzle in the first picture, but the main attraction is this particular puzzle has sounds with each piece. (primarily animal sounds)
Next picture - toy exchange and "new" books!! Atley totally recognized some of these books even though it's been 16 weeks since she's seen them. Surprised me!! Speaking of reading, several times this morning Nora and Atley were reading at the same time, loud, and usually singing. And they'd keep getting louder and louder - trying to be louder than the other one!! And that's how they roll at Little Treasures!! :)
Here are some more pictures from Atley's morning: Nora and Atley were putting on dress-up clothes. Nora was trying so hard to get one on and as you can see from the picture below Atley just said, "forget that!" And piled them on her head. "Done!" Ha! Last two pictures - playing with the car ramps with Avi and doing some dot painting at Art Time. (Atley at the top right. Which I'm sure you can tell, but just in case!)
