Atley - 3/21/2018
Atley ate most of whole wheat toast and ate mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate most of ground beef with marinara sauce, whole wheat spaghetti noodles, ate squash, and fruit salad.
Atley was doing some singing and reading books of course and here's how the "Baby Beluga" sounded to me; "Baby Ba-boom-ba! Oh Baby Ba-boom-ba!" I like that version Atley!! :)
Everyone is here today and they were all glad to see Bubba back with us. Everyone (except Atley) was doing puzzles with Nora; Atley was working hard on her own puzzles. Then eventually she joined us too. We have a system that works great and Nora is learning with the help of her friends. We finished one puzzle and I got another one and Hudson said, "That one's super tricky!" :)
Next picture: All I have to say; "Does anyone want to do sign language!" or "Does anyone want to sing some songs?" or "Does anyone want to do Hickity Pickity?" And they race to the step below the window and I sit in the chair facing them. In the picture everyone is looking at Hudson and I'm sure he was sharing some of his insights learned at the petting zoo in Arizona while he was gone! :) Atley did SO good at sign language this morning. She knows lots of the signs we do and is quick to answer! Nice work Atley!!
Another milestone reached today!! :) Atley stood up on the "first level" of the igloo and I was impressed. Then all of a sudden she just jumped off onto the mattress. Ha! Way to go Ately. She'd actually moved (slid) the igloo up against the mattress and that's how she climbs up there; stepping on the mattress first. Which is great because then the mattress is already positioned close to the igloo. I must have cheered loudly because Avi decided she better keep up and she also did it for the first time shortly after I took this picture. :)
