Atley - 3/16/2018
Atley ate cream of wheat cereal and no dried plums for breakfast. For lunch she ate a nibble of baked beef kabobs with meat, zucchini, peppers, and mushrooms. She ate a large serving of brown rice and ate bites of her pineapple serving.
During the first 10 minutes Atley was here (by herself) she was singing and reading some books. She was changing tunes/songs so I started writing down the ones I recognized! I clearly detected 6 different songs in 10 minutes, and 3 more over the next hour. I've decided that "Baa Baa Black Sheep" is her default song! That's the song she frequently goes back to more than any other!
The kids learn what the other child is saying regardless if they can talk or not! They figure it out! Atley and Avi were at the window and Atley was pointing and saying, "eh-ca-cot, eh-ca-cot, eh-ca-cot." Avi said, "I don't see any helicopter." LOL! That was so cute, sweet, and funny all at the same time! You are a good friend Avilene!! Speaking of words, I'd made the comment that both Avi and Nora came with "ponytails" today. Atley pointed at her own hair and said, "braid" clear and plain as could be!
These two characters in the first picture are good friends the majority of the time!! :) You'd never know by looking at the picture that Nora was yelling mad (at Atley) about 30 seconds before I took the picture. Haha! As soon as they were done waving "bye" to Momma Emily Atley whirled around and sprinted to the chair and sat in it. Geez! They surely know how to push each other's buttons and get a reaction! And it's almost always about the reaction!
Not too much to say about this next picture except that I really like it when the kids study the posters. And the last picture is Atley making some more silly sounds. It seems like almost all kids at one time or another use the shape buckets to make the hollow nose.
