Atley - 2/5/2018
Atley ate bites of breakfast: cheerios and banana. For lunch; from the taco salad she ate the ground beef, bites of tomatoes, olives, and lettuce, and she ate her avocado. She ate bites of whole grain pita bread and no watermelon.
Atley was done eating breakfast by the time Avilene arrived so she went to the window and waved at Avi's Daddy Andy! (Avi was eating breakfast.) I knew she was waving at him when I heard her pounding on the window! Thank you Daddy Andy for stopping and waving at Atley. She loved it.
We did a toy, book, and puzzle exchange this weekend and the kids stayed super busy just like they always do on Toy Exchange Monday! Atley was so engrossed with the toys she didn't even come around the corner when Baby Linnea arrived. Now that is VERY unusual! (She greeted her later! Ha!) These first two pictures are Nora and Atley playing with the xylophones. Then they figured out they could turn them over and make a different sound on the back side by running the handle back-n-forth across the ribbed area! Silly kids. (Actually it's quite creative, but still silly!)
Nora and Atley are sitting side-by-side each playing with another popular toy from this toy set. The iPods! Ok, maybe not actual iPods, but a much cheaper toy which plays music!! Haha! In the last picture the three girls (Hudson is not feeling well and is not here today) were playing side-by-side with the pop-up toys. There was lots of side-by-side playing this morning. We call this "parallel play." They are playing near or beside each other, but not really sharing the same toy.
