Atley - 2/16/2018

Atley ate whole grain cream of wheat cereal and dried plums for breakfast.  For lunch she ate half of baked beef kabobs with meat, zucchini, peppers, and mushrooms.  She ate a large serving of brown rice and half of pineapple.  While the kids were eating their cream of wheat I was encouraging them to "keep your face over your bowl" and "hold your bowl with this (left) hand."  They've heard those phrases many many times!!  Hudson chimed in with this zinger: "That's part of the deal!!"  Reminded me of a car salesman!!  Ha!

First, I just want to remind everyone that Little Treasures is closed on Monday February 19th for Presidents Day.  Lauralea and I are headed to Billings tomorrow to see our Grandkids and probably their parents!  (Jokes!  That's a Grandparent joke!)  Blogs will resume on Tuesday!

When I was getting Linnea ready for her morning nap Nora and Atley were singing "night night baby" at the top rung of their lungs!!  "DA DA DA DA, DA DA DA DA!!"  They make up in volume what they lack in clarity!  Ha!

Momma Emily got to see Atley and Nora using the purses for hats this morning!  Atley started doing this yesterday afternoon and Nora immediately wanted to do it too!  The first picture is Atley putting one on this morning!  Atley and Nora were standing side-by-side at the window (not) "looking" out and it looked hilarious.  The 2nd picture; Well it's a big milestone day at Little Treasures for Nora!  She will now step off the yellow part of the balance beam onto the mattress!  That's her on the left and Avi in the middle.  Atley's the tallest one in this picture just in case you didn't notice!  Ha!  The last picture I took a selfie during Story Time so you could see Atley wearing that goofy "hat" again!

Atley ate half of cheerios and half of banana for breakfast.  For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat pita bread, ate avocado, ate olives, no tomato, and bite of cantaloupe. Atley was very thrilled to have someone laughing at her shenanigans and she was making Nora laugh within the first minute of arrival.  (Momma Megan got to witness some of their joyful interactions in the short time she was here!)  First picture: Those two are waving at Momma Megan.  When they were waiting for Megan to drive around the corner Atley was intentionally "bonking" her forehead on the window and Nora was cracking up!!  Haha!  Welcome back Nora. Atley ate two servings of blueberry bagel and three servings of grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate shrimp, two servings of brown rice soaked in black raspberry juice, ate broccoli, and ate black raspberries.   Apparently Atley has been having issues with Alexa lately!! Early this morning Atley said, "Alexa is still mad at me!" That made me laugh hard. Ok, it's time to reboot Alexa and that changed her attitude. :) First picture: Nora is not here today, but Atley still played at the Doll House. Well technically not AT the Doll House, but with Doll House accessories. :) In the second picture she made a "restaurant" with the legos. Atley ate whole wheat toast and three servings of mangoes for breakfast. For lunch she ate a large serving of ground beef with marinara sauce on top of a large serving of whole wheat spaghetti noodles - then two more large servings of spaghetti noodles, ate two servings of cauliflower, and three servings of fruit salad. Lunch conversation was primarily Avi giving Atley some tips on how to trick the parents. Haha. Here's a sample: "So ask your Dad to pick you up and he'll probably say yes." (Haha) "Then go ask your Mom to pick you up. And they'll both come to pick you up!!" And other variations on this theme.  Atley got Avi's water bottle for Avi to have a drink at Avi's request.
