Atley 9/12/2017
Atley ate waffle and grapes for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of baked chicken, bites of whole grain tortillas, no roasted cabbage, or baked cinnamon apples.
It's been kind of a slow day around here again this morning. Hudson has been in Denver and he'll be back tomorrow, but until the after-school kids come it's just the 3 girls; Atley, Avi, and Nora. It always interests me how group dynamics change even at this very young age (when kids are gone, or we add new kids) and how these temperament types and personalities all fit together. Sometimes it's easy and sometimes it's a work in progress!!! And in case you're keeping score it's pretty easy with these 3 girls!! :)
Nora and Atley were the first 2 here and it couldn't be much easier with these 2 playing together!! They were bouncing on the mattress and then stopped to watch Lauralea brush her teeth! Ha! (That's solid entertainment right there!!) It's hard to depict the bouncing and fun they're having without a video, but you get the idea in the 2nd picture by looking at Nora's hair bouncing!! They're sitting on the edge of the mattress having a grand time!
Hey Momma Megan, you saw the kids were still at the window when you drove back the other direction. The people across the street were waving at them, but the kids were actually more interested in the puppy than the people waving! Ha!!
We read stories and Atley has been sitting for more stories this week. After stories we went outside to play. It's so nice that the smokey air is mostly clearing up and we can take advantage of what's left of the summer days!! They burned up (no fire pun intended!) lots of energy outside and Atley never stopped moving except to do her daily waves at an airplane flying over! She was waving and just kept bending farther backwards and still waving. Ok Kiddo, now something is going to have to give here!! She finally plopped on her butt. Silly Atley!!
