Atley - 8/11/2017
Atley ate oatmeal and no baked apples with cinnamon for breakfast. For lunch she ate some hamburger stew with green beans, carrots, and tomatoes, ate some dinner roll, and no apricots. She came in so happy and full of energy. Wonderful - and quite different from yesterday!! I'm thankful for that!
I took these first 2 pictures shortly after she arrived this morning. In the first picture - this was the first business of the day - she had to get these pillows that I use and arrange them on the couch where I sit. (I actually don't have a lot of "sitting" time, but when I do this is where it usually happens and the pillows are for my back.) As soon as she was done arranging my pillows she headed for the balance beam like you see in the 2nd picture. She was giggling and laughing while flopping on the mattress. I think she's her normal self today. Ha! (Yesterday morning was so weird.)
The kids were playing with these hats in the dress-up clothes and Avilene put her's over her face. And of course everyone started doing the same thing! Atley loved it because Lauralea and I both were laughing at her! The last picture is a great example why Nora loves Atley. She can do things like this - examine Atley's ponytail holder - and Atley is totally fine with it. She usually just waits for Nora to be done and then they move on to the next thing. :)
