Atley - 7/28/2017
Atley ate oatmeal and dried cranberries for breakfast. For lunch she ate bites of tilapia, ate whole wheat elbow noodles, a couple of green beans, and ate applesauce.
In the first picture you can see Atley is pretty delighted with the sudden turn of events! Haha! She'd been watching Hudson stack these up and he said, "setting this up for my Mommy!" However, as soon as he grew bored with it and wandered off, Atley moved in to tip it over!! Ha! This picture represents one of the harder "rules" at Gary's house that is not easy for this age group to grasp! When you move away from a toy, then someone else can play with it. They usually think all the toys are their's regardless; and especially so if they've invested some effort into it like Hudson did with his little stack in the picture. In this case, Atley moved in for the destruction, completed the task and moved on before anyone (primarily Hudson) saw what had happened! :)
In this next picture Atley was reading a book - and reading it LOUDLY I might add - while Nora sat on the mattress listening and sucking her thumb! Haha!!
Reid was so ready to go outside and as soon as we were ready it started to rain. So we watched it rain from the window inside! And it poured hard for several minutes - enough that we listened to it hitting the metal roof. We read books, sang some songs and looked at the Bear Cam in Katmai Park Alaska. We could see LOTS of fish jumping, the bears catching them, but Atley was so NOT interested! Haha! The little cutie! She makes me laugh! She played on the mattress, giggled with Baby Nora, and had several toys sliding down the little slide going to the balance beam.
