Atley - 7/27/2017
Atley ate most of toasted whole wheat bagel and ate a large serving of peaches for breakfast. For lunch she ate hamburger/sausage pizza on whole wheat crust, with olives, peppers, tomato sauce, and pineapple.
These 4 children in the picture below (Atley, Hudson, Avi, and Nora) were all playing at the legos table at the same time. I always think it's sweet when this age group can play side-by-side and not be grabbing toys from the other children's hands!! They are in the early stages of learning some social skills - which I think is one of the major benefits of a Childcare setting. Atley really enjoys the other kids and watches them a LOT!! She's always watching and absorbing.
This cracked me up when Atley was on one of the toy shelves, or at least trying to get on the shelf. What is she after? She was there, just like you see in the picture, for a long time. When she got out there was nothing on the shelf and nothing in her hands! Ha! I think she was trying to fit into there, but that wasn't happening!!
She was listening (while playing) to one of the songs and the verse said, "If you're happy and you know it jump up and down." She started grinning all over and trying to jump around. Ha! Nice job of following directions. We also read books, sang more songs, chased bubbles outside, and she played with the ice cream carts outside. Again, she had no interest in the bubbles; just looked at them and left to search for apples.
