Atley - 6/15/2017
Atley ate whole wheat english muffin and no oranges for breakfast. For lunch she ate ground beef, whole wheat elbow noodles, half of her peas, and I fed her a few bites of applesauce. She initially didn't want a bite of applesauce, but I put a little on her lips, she licked it, and then accepted some. :) It's surprising how often that works!!
There will not be any Blogs tomorrow, June 16th. Little Treasures is closing for the afternoon so Lauralea and I can attend a Memorial service for the precious daughter of some dear friends of ours. Thank you so much to all my Daycare Families for making it possible for us to attend the funeral and support this family.
Before Lauralea left for work she heard Atley singing and recognized the tune and the beginning sounds of a couple words. I don't remember which song it was, but it was one we sing here too. Lauralea and I both are fascinated by her singing, but no speaking yet. I know I've told both Mommy and Daddy that I really like having Atley at Little Treasures, but here it is in print! Haha! She really is a sweetie and I'm thankful I get to be her Caregiver! She has adjusted so easily and I couldn't have asked for a better transition.
For the first time this week all 6 six kids are here today! It was a busy place this morning, but we had lots of fun!! Here's a picture of the kids playing on the mattress and blue balance beam. Hudson is a bit blurry in the background, as he was just coming in for a landing!! :)
The birds are a bit blurry in the next picture, but at least Atley is in focus. Ha! There are 3 birds and I even got one in flight, just taking off! The following picture has all the kids watching birds again. Is Reid not the biggest 4 year old?? (He'll be 5 in late September) Today for breakfast he was devouring oranges as fast as I could load them on his plate and he asked, "You got another can of these?!?" LOL!! (No, but I went and fetched more out of the sack!!) Elbow noodles is also a favorite and he asked me the same thing about those at Lunch!? "You got another can of these?!?" And in the last picture Avi and Atley were sharing a book.
